The Giant Dragonfly: Art/Science Talk

The scientist who discovered the endangered Giant Dragonfly in the Blue Mountains and a local artist will come together for a free school holidays talk as part of the ‘Coexistence’ exhibition at the Blue Mountains Botanic Garden this month.

Exhibiting artist, Patricia Abela, and egologist, Dr Ian Baird, will discuss the intriguing world of the threatened Giant Dragonfly on Friday 19 July 2019, at the Garden’s Visitor Centre, against a backdrop of the Giant Dragonfly sculpture and a series of oil paintings.
