Foundation and Friends of the Botanic Gardens supports the vital work of your Gardens by raising monies through a number of wonderful major events, national & international tours and exhibitions.

Artisans in the Gardens Exhibition:  A journey into a fascinating world of contemporary craft and sculpture with an opportunity to purchase work from emerging and established Australian artists and craftspeople. Hosted annually in October at Lion Gate Lodge, within the Royal Botanic Garden.

Botanica Exhibition: Acknowledged as one of the country’s leading contemporary botanical art exhibitions, this must-see show will showcase stunning works by Australia’s best botanic and natural artists. Hosted annually in April and May at Lion Gate Lodge, within the Royal Botanic Garden.

Garden Design Series: A journey through intimate private gardens, bold commercial landscapes and cutting edge design. The series features lectures by four outstanding landscape architects and designers. Hosted annually across March, April, May and June in the Royal Automobile Club of Australia, Sydney.

National & International Tours: Special interest tours for garden enthusiasts and nature lovers. Short breaks and extended tours, within Australia and overseas. Whether you want a luxury tour or a unique adventure, we have something to appeal to you.

Art Master Classes & Basketry Workshops: Indulge your creative passion in 2018 with our extensive calendar of art classes and basketry workshops, inspired by nature.

New Year's Eve: Members and guests are invited to celebrate New Year’s Eve at a family friendly picnic on the Mare and Foal Lawn in the Royal Botanic Garden Sydney with spectacular harbour views.
